All These Scraps is built so that we never see your data. This policy is short because there isn't much to say — and that's the point.
Your scraps live in your iCloud
Everything you create — scraps, piles, checklists, attachments, recordings — is stored on your devices and synced through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. It counts against your iCloud storage, is protected by your Apple Account, and is never transmitted to servers we operate. We operate no servers.
We collect nothing
The app has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no accounts of ours. We cannot read your scraps, your shared piles, or anything else. Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple; we receive no payment details.
Sharing
When you share a pile, Apple's CloudKit sharing delivers it directly to the people you invite, under their Apple Accounts. Locked scraps never leave your own devices' sync.
On-device features
Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight indexing, and the optional local Claude connection all run on your device. The Claude connection (macOS) is off by default, reachable only from your own computer, and excludes locked scraps.
